Tech expert joins Seko Logistics

Supply chain service firm SEKO Logistics has appointed Rick Lee as its new chief operating officer in the US. Lee, who joins Seko from technology company Avaya, will be based in Chicago, where he will he oversee Seko’s client solution group, operations and procedures, logistics infrastructure and procurement.
Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years in senior management roles at FedEx before joining Ceva for 14 years where he held various vice president and senior vice-president posts, including four years in Asia, finishing his career there as executive vice president for global technology.
He joined Avaya in 2011, as vice president global logistics, service parts supply chain and strategy, based in North Carolina, where he was responsible for development of the supply chain, and the procurement and execution for global logistics.
Commenting on his new role, he said: “Having been a customer, I have a clearer view of the end-to-end supply chain from a customer perspective.” Seko, he added, has some of the best technology he had seen which would give it a strong competitive advantage.
