Yusen Logistics has a customised solution

Japanese-owned forwarder Yusen Logistics has formed a Transportation Solutions Group (TSG) to create customised services for its customers.
Offerings will include cargo consolidation and de-consolidation,  value-added product handling, forward inventory positioning and customs house brokerage. Managed transportation services will be available including centralised execution and account management, purchase order and vendor management, route management and optimisation carrier management and control tower.
The TSG will focus on providing value-added warehouse services from its Charlotte North Carolina and Laredo, Texas facilities.
The group will focus on key vertical markets such as automotive parts and components.
President, and chief executive of Yusen Logistics (Americas), Ken Miyoshi, said: “Based on a mission of collaboration and partnership, the TSG will enable Yusen Logistics to deliver comprehensive services and drive innovation.”
The team will be led by TSG vice president and general manager, Kyosuke Noguchi.
