AEI to carry out B737-400SF conversions for Aeronaves TSM

Mexico-based Aeronaves TSM has signed up to receive two B737-400SF freighter conversion, one of which is an option, from Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI).

In November 2020, AEI announced the first B737-400SF freighter conversion for TSM with one option.

The option aircraft will commence modification in September 2021. All modification touch labor and maintenance requirements will be performed by authorised AEI Conversion Center Commercial Jet in Alabama. The second aircraft will commence modification in January 2022.

TSM currently has several AEI freighters undergoing modification, including one B737-400SF, two CRJ200SFs and one MD-83SF.
