AEI to carry out four additional B737 conversions for GA Telesis

AEI B737-800SF

GA Telesis has ordered four additional B737-800SF Freighter Conversions from Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI).

GA Telesis, which has said that “multiple candidate aircraft are under consideration for conversion”, ordered its first AEI B737-800SF in July last year and also added the option of a second in September.

AEI said that three production slots have been reserved in the second half of this year and one slot has been reserved in the first half of next year.

The freighter conversions will be carried out by authorised AEI Conversion Center, Commercial Jet, which is based in Alabama, US.

The AEI converted B737-800SF freighter offers a maindeck payload of up to 23,904 kg and incorporates eleven full height 88” x 125” container positions, plus an additional position for an AEP/AEH.
