Raya Airways: A cause for celebration

Reborn Malaysian cargo carrier Raya Airways is on the flightpath to expansion, discovers Roger Hailey
Raya Airways is in celebratory mood.  Malaysia’s national all-cargo airline is preparing for a freighter fleet and network expansion, but with simpler steps than its predecessor, Transmile Air Services (TAS).
Raya, a “restructured entity” of the former TAS, currently operates three Boeing 727Fs, one B757-200F and one B767-200F from its Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport) hub, to the east of the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
