Brussels Airlines’ cargo load factor rises

In May, Brussels Airlines achieved a year-on-year increase of 4.3 percentage points in its cargo load factor, which averaged 69.7%.
Capacity totalled 219,77 available ton-km, up 1.7% year on year, while revenue ton-km reached 174,203, a rise of 7.5% over May 2017.
The carrier transported 4,446 tons of freight during the month.
The carrier noted that the number of flights operated in May this year fell, when it was forced to cancel 557 services due to industrial action by its pilots.
