JAL goes for Starlight Express in Nepal market

Nepalese freight forwarder Starlight Express is to act as the general sales agent (GSA) for Japan Airlines Cargo in the Nepalese market.
Starlight Express will sell the cargo capacity of the Tokyo-headquartered carrier’s flights between Japan and Nepal.
Starlight, as an agent of the Hong Kong-based freight forwarder and logistics solutions provider U-Freight Group, said it will work closely U-Freight’s subsidiary in Japan in order to secure regular bookings.
Starlight Express already sells cargo or passenger capacity for a number of international airlines.
Established in 1995, Starlight Express has been U-Freight’s partner in Nepal since 2001; it facilitates the group’s global network of offices and partners ability to provide logistics services to companies that trade with the landlocked central Himalayan country.
Sundar Dahal, managing director of Starlight Express, said that he appreciates the trust that JAL Cargo has placed in Starlight Express.
