AirBaltic picks B&H Worldwide for AOG at Gatwick

UK-based aerospace logistics specialist B&H Worldwide has won a contract with airBaltic to handle all of the airline’s AOG traffic, including time-critical spares and routine shipments, to and from London Gatwick.
B&H Worldwide said it will “take care of the entire shipping process providing a new level of shipment transparency to airBaltic through the use of its unique OnTrack system to provide track and trace and reporting with an option to include full inventory management in the future”.
The contract will be managed through the logistics company’s London Heathrow Control Tower, providing global, 24/7, 365 service to airBaltic.
B&H Worldwide chief executive Stuart Allen: “AirBaltic has a high-level reputation to protect having been voted the world’s most punctual airline and we are confident we can play our part in it continuing to maintain those high standards by supplying both AOG and routine cargo supplies on time, every time.”
The Latvian carrier operates 34 aircraft from Riga to over 70 destinations as well as additional direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius to various European cities.
