Hainan introduces new connection to Zurich from Shenzhen

Hainan Airlines launched its inaugural service between Shenzhen and Zurich.
The first non-stop service to connect China’s Guangzhou-Shenzhen area with Switzerland, it also represents Hainan Airline’s seventh intercontinental service originating at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.
The carrier will operate a Boeing B787 ‘Dreamliner’ on the new Zurich link, with two round-trip flights undertaken each week.
A Hainan Airlines spokesman noted that the service will provide “more opportunities for collaboration between companies in European countries and in China”.
During 2018, Hainan Airlines has introduced a number of new international services out of Shenzhen: to Brussels, Madrid, Vancouver (via Tianjin) and, now, to Zurich. It has also launched a new Guangzhou to Tel Aviv link this year, while it  is scheduled to launch a Shenzhen to Vienna service on October 20.
Hainan Airlines also operates international services from Shenzhen to Brisbane, Cairns, Oakland, Zurich, Sihanouk, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Da Nang and Nha Trang.
