Ukraine Airlines starts Düsseldorf service

UKRAINE AIRLINES has launched a direct service between Kiev and Düsseldorf.
The route, operating six times a week from the eastern European country’s main international hub Boryspil Airport, will be serviced with a B737.
Düsseldorf Airport Cargo (DUS Cargo) has been awarded the handling contract, whilst Globe Air Cargo has been appointed as GSA, says a company statement.
“Even though 12 tonnes per week is modest capacity, it is a very useful route for our shippers as this airline operates onward connections to a wide range of destinations including Moscow, Baku, Istanbul and Tel Aviv, plus many more,” comments Thomas Schürmann, marketing and sales manager for DUS Cargo.
