CargoLogicAir goes live with website as footage emerges of aircraft

Video footage has emerged of an aircraft in the livery of rumoured new UK cargo airline CargoLogicAir, while a website is also now online.
You Tube account AirlinerVideos has posted footage of a Boeing 747-400 freighter taking off from Cambridge Airport (see below) with a CargoLogicAir livery.
Industry speculation suggest the new airline is linked to Volga-Dnepr, although the airline group has declined to confirm this.
Meanwhile, www.cargologicair.com is now live, stating the airline "is in the process of receiving the Air Operator Certificate from the UK Civil Aviation Authority". The website said the airline would be headquartered at London-Stansted.
“We aim to become the leader in the European air cargo market offering cargo services on scheduled and charter flights, and with the freedom to explore growth opportunities with freight forwarders and other airlines that provide new opportunities for us and our customers,” the website states.
“Our team combines the highest levels of operational and commercial expertise, while our Boeing 747-400F with its 110 tonnes payload is one of the world’s most efficient and capable cargo aircraft.”
The website said the airline will provide both schedule and charter services, with a network offering to customers extended to other major cities in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific through interline agreements and will be continually increased as partnerships are approved with other high quality cargo operators.
Its first 747 has been acquired through a lease agreement with Aircastle.
Meanwhile, Air Transport World today quoted the company’s rumoured chief executive, Dmitry Grishin, as saying further information about the airline should be available “within the next few weeks”.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority listed an operating license application, with an address at Stansted Airport, for the airline in its June records.
Meanwhile, the UK’s registrar of companies lists CargoLogicAir as being incorporated in March with its nature of business listed as freight air transport and renting and leading of freight air transport equipment. It is understood the airline will provide third-party services.
