Seven more years for FedEx US postal contract

FedEx Express has extended its express air transportation contract with the United States Postal Service (USPS), which dates back to April 2013. The agreement is now extended to September 29, 2024.
The modified contract is expected to generate around $1.5bn per year for FedEx Express, which will provide domestic US airport-to-airport transport of USPS Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express.
FedEx Corporation president and chief operating officer David Bronczek, said: “We are pleased to be able to extend this agreement and to continue the outstanding service that FedEx Express has provided to the USPS for more than 16 years. This contract provides USPS with the operational reliability and flexibility they have come to expect from FedEx.”
