Air France KLM launches new freighter flights to serve the mango trade

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo and logistics firm Fermac Cargo España have launched joint 777-300 freighter flights from Abidjan, Ivory Coast to Madrid to serve the mango trade.
The first of a minimum of eight flights operated on 19 April, each carrying around 90 tonnes of the fruit, which is in growing demand in Europe, and is one of the main exports from the African country.
Fermac Cargo is coordinating customs clearance and health inspection at Madrid Barajas Airport.
