Simply the best: Enter now to win an air cargo Oscar

You have got to be in it, to win it. The Air Cargo News Cargo Airline of the Year awards are now open for entries.
There are six categories in total to enter this year, one more than last year due to the creation of the innovation award, sponsored by Heathrow Cargo.
There are two categories covering air cargo airports, split into those hubs with annual volumes under or over 1m tonnes.
The remaining categories include Charter Broker of the Year, Ground Handler of the Year and GSA of the Year.
Each category has its own specific criteria, but all allow for a submission of up to 1,000 words, outlining why you deserve to win, with supporting evidence and customer testimonials demonstrating why you go that extra mile.
Entries will then be submitted to a panel of expert industry judges who will decide the winner and runners up for each hotly contested category.
Please submit your entries by Monday March 27, 2017. Entries submitted after this time will not be eligible.
Winning an award at an event with a proud 34 year history is the ultimate accolade in the air cargo sector. There have been many imitators, but this is the one and only original air cargo event, recognised globally as the airfreight Oscars.
Winners are honoured by Air Cargo News and the wider air cargo industry at an exclusive awards ceremony in London on 22 April 2017.
Not only that, Air Cargo News will promote both the shortlisted entries and winners via stories on our must-read website, news bulletins and social media feeds.

In parallel to the entries is the web-based voting for the best airline in six regions or categories. This voting process decides the award of the ultimate prize, the overall Cargo Airline of the Year, won in 2016 by American Airlines Cargo.
Voting opened on January 6 for all non-airline parties in the air cargo supply chain, and is garnering an impressive electorate of shippers, forwarders, airports, truckers and ground handlers.
Voters have until March 27 to place their ticks against the airlines that have gone that extra mile in customer service.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Lancaster London Hotel in front of an audience who want to network and celebrate the very best in air cargo, while saving their energy for some serious dancing afterwards.
