Finlogistics acquisition doubles Leman’s Finland footprint

Danish-based logistics company Leman has acquired Finland-based FL Services Finlogistics, doubling its presence in the country.
Based in Kerava, 35km north of Helsinki as well as in Kotka, Finlogistics offers airfreight, sea freight and logistics solutions. It has ten employees and a turnover of €9m.
Leman Group chief executive Thomas Krøyer said the two companies “not only complement each other commercially; we also get some skilled and competent employees”.
He described Finlogistics owners as “a young and dynamic team of entrepreneurs”.
He added: “We expect to be able to benefit greatly from utilising each other’s competencies, while working towards mutual goals and values. ”
Finlogistics has been managed and operated by co-owners, managing director Rami Orola and traffic manager, Tero Laukkanen.
Orola said: ”We will both continue in the company after the acquisition and we are looking forward to helping ensure the best integration in the new Leman in Finland.”
Krøyer added: ”We expect Leman and Finlogistics to merge before end of 2018.”
The acquisition will strengthen what has until now been the smallest country at Leman Group and give a broader product range and greater expertise.
Previous Leman acquisitions include Maru group in the UK last year.
