Kerry Logistics appoints Rutgersson as managing director in Sweden

Kerry Logistics Network has promoted Kenny Rutgersson to managing director of its Swedish operation, with a strong focus on strengthening the contract logistics business.
In his new role Rutgersson will also drive the growth strategy and business development in international freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution in Sweden. 
Rutgersson has over 20 years of logistics experience and joined Kerry Logistics (Sweden) as Head of 3PL three years ago.
Rutgersson said: “In my previous role, I have noticed an ever-increasing demand in the field of contract logistics by our customers. This is why I want to strengthen our contract logistics capabilities through leveraging the group’s expertise and proven track record in various verticals and enhance our overall service offerings to existing and new customers.”
Located in the country’s textile capital Borås, Kerry Logistics (Sweden)’s key vertical is fashion and lifestyle industry, but also electronics & technology, fast moving consumer goods, and industrial and material science.
Thomas Blank, managing director of Europe, Kerry Logistics, commented: “We are very excited that we were able to gain such an experienced colleague for this position. Kenny Rutgersson has done a great job in the past and I look forward to working with him to grow our Swedish business further.”
