Panalpina resumes operations in Houston

Panalpina’s US business unit in Houston will resume operations today Thursday at 8:00 am local time, the Switzerland-based global forwarder has confirmed.
A number of US airports have closed temporarily and logistics operations disrupted by the catastrophic flooding that followed Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey after it swept across Texas.
Said Panalpina: "Our facilities are untouched, dry, and with power. We are extremely grateful that all of our associates remained safe during this difficult time and have set an internal donation web page to support both our community and our colleagues in distress. We look forward to the full recovery in Texas and Louisiana."
