British Aviation Group names Graham Bolton as chairman

Graham Bolton has been named as chairman of the British Aviation Group, the representative trade body for UK companies involved in the airport and aviation development sector.
Bolton is the aviation market director at Epsom, Surrey-based Atkins, which provides integrated services for the planning, design and delivery of all aspects of airport development. As chairman of the British Aviation Group, he will be expected to promote the capability of, and seek opportunities for, the UK aviation supply chain – working closely with Department for International Trade, with UK airports and other industry representative bodies.
“This is a critical time for the British aviation sector and an exciting time for me to take on this role,” Bolton said.
“The UK Government will be making a decision in the next few weeks on how to increase airport capacity in the southeast. UK connectivity to a wider range of countries is vital for our future and the need is now.
“Our focus and effort going forward must be on working together to deliver the extra capacity quickly, considerately and with minimum disruption,” he declared.
With nearly 25 years’ experience in the industry, Bolton has worked on major airport development projects all over the world. He has previously acted as deputy chairman of the British Aviation Group.
