Panalpina’s Boehringer moves to customer development

Panalpina’s chief executive for Europe, Volker Boehringer, will become the freight forwarder’s global head of strategic customer development on June 1.
He will be based in Stuttgart, where he will focus mainly on developing ceratin key accounts that will “drive and support Panalpina’s overall growth ambitions”, a statement said.
Panalpina chief executive Stefan Karlen will assume Boehringer’s current role until a successor is found.
