West appointed managing director at Elite Global Logistics Network

Independent freight forwarding group WCA has appointed Matthew West, its director of North America, as the managing director at Elite Global Logistics Network (EGLN) which merged with WCA in October of 2017.
“Appointing Matthew to managing director was a no-brainer,” said Roy Stapleton, president and founder of EGLN – which celebrated 50 years in the logistics industry in July.
Added Stapleton: “His longstanding experience as a WCA network leader is exactly what we need to expand the group and integrate into WCA’s existing model.”
West has more than six years of global logistics experience through leadership at WCA.
He will work closely with Stapleton to provide member support to EGLN, WCA’s newest affiliate network. Together they will work to grow the network while expanding the logistics might of the entire WCA group.
