Allport Cargo Services appoints new cargo chief

GLOBAL forwarder Allport Cargo Services (ACS) has appointed Steve Williams as its managing director of airfreight.
The former DB Schenker director and head of cargo at Panalpina will be based at ACS’ airfreight centre near London Heathrow, says a company statement. 
“Bringing more than 15 years senior executive experience with him, Steve’s extensive industry knowledge will be invaluable as he takes responsibility for growing ACS’s airfreight business globally,” comments Danny Clayton, joint group managing director of ACS. 
Williams enthuses: “I look forward to enhancing the quality of our current services and adding new products to give our customers even more choice.”
