AA Cargo and US Airways co-locate to Phoenix

IN A another step to co-locate operations across the combined network, American Airlines Cargo has joined US Airways Cargo’s operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
While the two carriers continue to operate independently, the co-located facility allows American and US Airways customers to tender and recover both 001 and 037 airwaybill shipments at one location.
From today, American Airlines Cargo customers will begin tendering and recovering 001 airwaybill shipments at the US Airways Cargo facility at PHX.
This co-location is the second of 155 planned across the merged airline’s combined networks.
