ACS opens Brazilian office

IN a move to negotiate better rates with local operators and offer savings to its existing client base for any charters in the region, Air Charter Service (ACS) has opened its first office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

ACS Brazil will offer both passenger and cargo services, and will work in conjunction with the company’s other worldwide offices to provide its clients with the best charter solutions.

Heading the office, Felipe Haddad brings over seven years’ experience in aviation.??“We decided long ago to open an office here in Brazil, and Felipe and his team have been training with us for a number of months now, some having worked in our London headquarters for more than a year,” Air Charter Service’s managing director Tony Bauckham (right) comments.??The UK-headquartered charter provider opened four offices in 2010 with further plans to put more offices in international locations this year.

In related news ACS has made a number of promotions within the cargo department of its London office. Justin Lancaster has been promoted from director of the London Cargo department to group cargo sales director. Dan Morgan-Evans will now fill Justin’s former role as cargo sales director of ACS’s London office, and Richard Thompson is now promoted to London cargo sales manager.
