AIA launches track-and-trace app

GENERAL sales agency Airbridge International Agencies (AIA) has launched an air cargo track-and-trace mobile app.
The software allows customers to check the status of their shipments 24/7, a statement from the UK-based company says.
“We know our clients need to track a shipment late at night or in the early hours [of the morning]. The AIA app is connected to our main server and is updated as soon as a shipment’s [progress] is updated,” a spokesperson adds.
The system allows shippers to see goods acceptance, first-sector trucking or flight details, any further onward sectors details. It also provides the previous five track-and-trace histories.
The app, which is free to download, is available for Blackberry, android and the iPhone.
