AirBridgeCargo to serve Zhengzhou

AIRBridgeCargo (ABC) Airlines is extending its all-cargo services from China with a new twice-weekly 747-400 freighter flight from Zhengzhou to Europe.

Flights from the capital of Henan province will depart from Zhengzhou International Airport every Wednesday and Saturday to ABC’s hub in Moscow and then continue onto Frankfurt (Germany) connecting central China with Europe and Russia. This will increase to four 747F flights per week by the end of the year.

The inaugural flight is the first result of the strategic cooperation between ABC and the airport. Following the accelerated development of inland regions prioritised by the Chinese government, Henan province – as the most populous province in China with a population of over 100 million – is attracting investment from major export-oriented manufacturers.

So far Central China has received little attention from international all-cargo airlines.
