Another Atlas Air B747-400 freighter for DHL

AIRCRAFT leasing company Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has placed an additional B747-400 freighter with DHL Express.
ACMI services under the new agreement will provide additional intercontinental capacity for DHL Express from Asia commencing this month.
“We are delighted to expand our long-standing relationship with DHL and to support the strong growth of its global network operations,” says William J Flynn, chief executive of Atlas.
The latest deal means Atlas will now operate a total of four B747-8Fs and six B747-400Fs in ACMI service on behalf of DHL.
Atlas will also continue to operate seven B767 freighters in CMI service for DHL.
