Aramex bags Berco

LESS than a month since announcing its Sinoair joint venture in China, Aramex has acquired South African logistics and transportation company Berco Express.
Berco Express works alongside DB Schenker as a freight forwarder, with 15 branches throughout South Africa, employing more than 700 people.
UAE-based logistics provider Aramex plans to further expand across southern Africa by opening additional offices and warehouses.
The company reported a three per cent rise in third quarter profits in October against uncertain markets in the Middle East and high oil prices.
