ATSG unit leasing planes to international freight flyer

FLORIDA-based Amerijet International has taken possession of its first of two 767-200 widebody freighters from Cargo Aircraft Management, a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group.

According to Amerijet, the second freighter is scheduled to arrive later in the spring. Both aircraft, with the option of three more are part of a seven-year deal.

Chief executive officer of Amerijet, said: “This aircraft is our launch aircraft into wide body freighter operations. It provides efficient capacity to service our core business and the flexibility to pursue new opportunities.”
