Cargo pilot charged with being drunk

A COMMERCIAL cargo pilot is charged with being drunk while flying an aircraft to Spokane International Airport in Washington state (US).
Federal prosecutors allege Paul Robbin Roessler was intoxicated when he flew a twin-engine PA-34 for Airpac Airlines from Boeing Field in Seattle, also in Washington, to Spokane on 26 April this year.
Roessler faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted.
He is due to appear before a Spokane district court on 29 June.
