Cautious Kitty

EVA Air says it holds a cautious outlook on air freight growth despite a predicted electronics boost.

“The airline’s cargo business may see some upside in the second half of the year, driven by the launch of new electronics products.”
Regional analysts expect the debut of Apple Inc’s iPhone 5 and the possible iPad Mini, may drive cargo demand.
The Taiwanese firm posted NT$2.92 billion (US$97.78m) in cargo sales in May, down 12.84 per cent from a year ago.
