CEVA’s new Singapore logistics facility

GLOBAL supply chain management company CEVA Logistics has opened a new logistics centre in Singapore, located strategically in the eastern part of the island with easy access to the expressways, airport and major seaports.
Housed in a 42,000-sq m state-of-the art multi-user warehouse, it is the signature facility for CEVA in the Asia Pacific region, says the company.It contains advanced eco-design features for environmental efficiency.
Loo Seng Tak, CEVA’s executive vice-president for south-east Asia says: “Singapore is a strategic regional hub for CEVA due to the country’s excellent network and international connectivity. This new logistics centre, with the highest green credentials, will enhance our service capabilities.
“This is a significant investment,” he adds.
Special attention has been given to the specific requirements for aerospace engine logistics, as well as advanced, clean air conditioning systems and other energy efficient design features.”
CEVA customers for the multi-user site are Rolls-Royce, Pearson and Pigeon, a provider of baby and child-care products.
This new logistics centre is in addition to CEVA’s existing network of 10 contract logistics and freight management sites across Singapore.
