Chapman Freeborn acquires Intradco

LIVESTOCK and bloodstock specialists Intradco has been acquired by one of the leading air charter specialists Chapman Freeborn, Air Cargo News exclusively reveals.
The 21-year-old UK-based entity will become Chapman’s in-house animal division, thereby benefitting from its global reach, says its chief operating officer, Shahe Ouzounian.
“We’ve bought a majority stake in the company, this is not a merger or a takeover but an acquisition. We don’t have, and have never claimed to have a lot of experience in bloodstock/livestock.
"Animal transportation is a very specialised niche area and Intradco has a fabulous reputation. It will be part of the Chapman Freeborn family, bringing specialisation, knowledge and expertise.”
Eddie McMullen, Intradco’s managing director, states: “I think this is a positive, sensible, and almost natural move.”
