CHEP launches track-and-trace app

ULD repair specialist CHEP Aerospace Solutions has launched an air cargo track-and-trace mobile app.
The software is designed to save airlines, ground handling agents, forwarders and other industry stakeholders time and money by simplifying a number of ULD-related processes that are currently mainly paper-based.
CHEP Focus also records and transmits ULD messages, as well as, manages and updates stock, says a company statement.
Floris Kleijn, IT director of CHEP, comments: "We are pleased to have been able to develop this mobile software which is the first ULD management app officially launched in the market.”
The app is available for iPhone and android devices.
