Crane Worldwide appoints Nielsen for the Benelux

Crane Worldwide Logistics has appointed Kenneth Nielsen to serve as managing director for the Benelux region.
Based in Amsterdam, Nielsen, will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of Crane Worldwide Logistics in Benelux and report to Marco Nazzari, regional vice president, EMEIA.
"The hiring of Nielsen demonstrates a commitment to improving Crane Worldwide Logistics’ unparalleled operations in The Netherlands, consisting of a strong airfreight base in Amsterdam, ocean freight in Rotterdam, and contract logistics capabilities in Tilburg," the company said.
"Growth in EMEIA is clearly visible year over year and Nielsen will be instrumental in the continued success in the region."
Nielsen has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of senior positions across the supply chain industry in EMEIA, South Asia and the Americas.
His most recent position was at Geodis Freight Forwarding where he was director, global ocean product.
He also held various positions during his esteemed career at AP Moller-Maersk (Damco) and Yusen Logistics.
Nielsen holds a business degree from Tietgen Business College in Odense, Denmark. Kenneth will work from the Crane Worldwide Logistics office in Amsterdam.
