Davies Turner awarded AEO status

UK-based freight forwarder Davies Turner has achieved Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status. Becoming AEO accredited recognises the company as being a secure trader and a reliable trading partner.The group now has full certification (Type F), which recognises the standard reached by the company in the security of its systems and premises, as well as in ensuring its procedures and processes remain fully Customs compliant.Philip Stephenson, chairman of Davies Turner, welcomed the accreditation and praised the joint efforts of management and staff in working closely with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs to achieve it:“Our air cargo colleagues back in April 2008 were amongst the first off the starting block with AEO accreditation. We soon realised this was only an interim step on the journey to having full accreditation covering all our services.”
