Delta appoint new team for cargo business

DELTA Air Lines has appointed four account managers and one operation manager for the cargo team in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The new team will be responsible for the expansion and smooth running of Delta’s cargo business across the region.

Also, Delta Air Lines, has opened two new cargo sales offices – one in Frankfurt and one in Paris. The Frankfurt office is at the airport, led by regional manager Oliver Frey, where all corporate accounts for Germany are now handled. This office is in addition to the reservation centre that Delta has through its partnership with ECS Globe Air Cargo. The newly opened cargo sales office in Paris, is led by regional manager Olivier de Causans and his team handles sales and reservations for Delta’s six flights from Paris CdG, as well as the Lyon and Nice departures.

Neil O’Sullivan and Jaswant Gill, account managers, are both based in Delta’s London office responsible for key cargo forwarders in London and southern England and report to regional manager Peter Hannaford. They are joined by Tony Bunn, whose role as operations manager, means he is responsible for the cargo operations across the region, reporting to regional operations manager David Linford.

In the Frankfurt office, Maurice Fuchs, joins the team as an account manager. Also based in this office are Delta’s regional directors for cargo in EMEA, Flavio Renfer and Danita Waterfall-Brizzi. In the Paris office, Nathalie Garabige joins the team as an account manager.

Tim Strauss, managing director of global cargo operations, added: “It is an exciting time to be in Delta Cargo as evidenced by the increasing focus by the entire organisation. It is a pleasure to be welcoming a sales team of industry professionals who will continue to grow our EMEA franchise. Equally important, is our continued investment in operations to support the sales effort. Tony Bunn joining the team will bring immediate returns and we are delighted to have him on board.”
