Emirates appoints East Africa cargo manager

EMIRATES has appointed Khalid Mohamed Al Hinai as its new cargo manager for the East African region.
Emirates divisional senior vice-president cargo, Ram Menen, said: “Our decision to appoint a cargo manager for East Africa is informed by the growth in the horticultural sector and small- and medium-scale business people who are travelling to our key destinations in China and India.
“As an airline, we always want to add value to all our partnerships by having key resources as close to the client as possible, these personal links are important in growing our business."
The airline has made Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as its regional hub for the East and Central Africa.
