Etihad Crystal Cargo launches Hong Kong service

ETIHAD Crystal Cargo, a division of Etihad Airways, will launch a twice-weekly service from its hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport to Hong Kong (China). From 13 October, the carrier will operate its new A330-200 freighter with a payload of 60 metric tonnes on the route.

Roy Kinnear, senior vice-president of Etihad Crystal Cargo, said: “This new service, our fourth dedicated freighter service to China, is an important strategic addition to our freight network.

“Hong Kong is the world’s second-busiest cargo hub, giving us huge growth potential and a strengthened product to offer our global key accounts.

“We look forward to reinforcing trade ties between China and the UAE through this new cargo route.”

In addition to Hong Kong, Etihad Crystal Cargo operates to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China.
