Freighter aborts takeoff

A BOEING 747 freighter was forced to abort takeoff after it lost thrust.
The Air Bridge Cargo 747-800 was spotted spitting debris onto the tarmac at Changi, Singapore, according to The Wall Street Journal, before coming safely to a halt.
In July, another GE manufactured engine on a 787 Dreamliner failed during a taxi test at Charleston International Airport in South Carolina.
The freighter engine has been taken from Shanghai to the US for tests.
