GSAs meet at ACF

FEDAGSA, the Federation of Airline General Sales Agents, is timing its 2008 AGM to allow some 100 GSA executives from more than 25 countries, to also participate in TIACA’s Air Cargo Forum & Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur (4-6 November).
This follows the decision by the WCA Family of Logistics Networks to schedule its regional meeting in Malaysia in November, a move that will see a further 300 international and regional freight forwarders participating in the TIACA event.
Glenn Shires (above), general secretary of FEDAGSA, said: “This is the first time we have organised an AGM in the Asia region. There is clear synergy between these two events and we see considerable added value for our members in enabling them to also take part in the TIACA conference and exhibition during a single business trip. The huge economic growth potential of this region cannot be under-estimated. FEDAGSA and TIACA are giving GSAs a real opportunity to transact business together and to network with customers, prospects and other key suppliers.”
