KLM’s cargo shipments plummet in February

FRANCO-Dutch airline Air France-KLM has blamed the weak economy for its cargo traffic falling by 5.1 per cent in February.

Europe’s second largest flag-carrier by revenues revealed the drop led
to a four percentage points decline in load factor to 63.7 per cent.

In contrast, the airline recorded a 6.2 per cent hike in passenger numbers despite the industrial action at Air France.
