Korean Air Cargo and LUG extend Frankfurt partnership

SkyTeam Cargo Alliance member Korean Air Cargo has extended its co-operation arrangements with LUG Aircargo Handling at Frankfurt International Airport for a further five years to 2019. LUG has handled freight for passenger and cargo aircraft as well as road feeder services on behalf of Korean Air Cargo for 17 years, making Koran the GHA’s longest-standing customer.
“We are delighted to continue serving this leading Asian cargo carrier and celebrate the 20th anniversary of our cooperation in 2017,” says Patrik Tschirch, Managing Director of LUG. Korean Air Cargo offers seven weekly passenger flights and up to nine full freighter flights to and from FRA, and LUG handles some 60,000 tonnes of cargo for the airline in Frankfurt annually.
“LUG Aircargo Handling matches our dedicated demands and expectations with highly trained people, leading edge IT systems, and well-defined processes. We are happy to continue our successful cooperation in Frankfurt. Together we provide premium logistics solutions tailored to the demands of customers in Germany and Europe,” said Yoon Wook Yoo, General Manager & Regional Manager Frankfurt at Korean Air Cargo.
