Munich and Suvarnabhumi airport finalise Sister Airport agreement

MUNICH Airport chief executive officer, Dr Michael Kerkloh and the head of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, Serirat Prasutanond, were on hand for the official ceremony to finalise the Sister Airport agreement between the two international air transportation hubs.
The new partnership will further enhance the long-standing close cooperation between the two airports. Munich Airport played a key role in the successful launch of operations of the new Bangkok Airport in 2006.
The Sister Airport Agreement now lays the groundwork to take this cooperation to the next level in the areas of technology and airport operations as well as media relations. The partners also hope that it will foster an increase in air services between Munich and Bangkok.
