JAPAN Airlines’ (JAL) restructure has a seen a swathe of new appointments. These notably include: Kazuo Inamori (chairman), Kunio Hirata (executive officer cargo and mail, president of JAL Cargo sales), Hiroshi Ikeda (executive officer president of JAL) and Yoshito Shimizu (executive officer president of JAL Express
 FROM 31 March, David Savile, chief executive officer of Air Partner will stand down after 27 years service to the group. Mark Briffa, currently chief operating officer, will be the new chief executive. Briffa joined Air Partner in 1995.
 LYON-Saint-Exupéry Airport has made Stéphane Geffroy its new sales and marketing director. Geffroy will be responsible for developing Lyon’s freight and passenger traffic to ultimately make the airport France’s second busiest international gateway and hub.
 ARAMEX has promoted Nabil Zaghloul to station manager, Heathrow. Nabil Zaghloul was the former finance manager of the station. He will report to the UK managing director, Jim Armour, and will be responsible for all of the company’s multi-modal operations at the airport.
 EMIRATES Skycargo has promoted Keki Patel to cargo manager India and Nepal. The Western Region team has had three new positions created, in response to its recent and rapid growth: Sudeep Narayan to sales manager key accounts, Patrick Mascarenhas to cargo sales controller and Niranjan Vadhavkar to cargo controller customer services and operations.
 CURRENT senior vice-president operations at Singapore Airlines (SIA) Cargo, Tan Kai Ping, mas been made the new president of the company. The current president, Goh Choon Phong, has left and become executive vice-president for marketing and sales regions for SIA itself.
 KUEHNE + Nagel has made Mark Bondonno its airfreight manager for the United Arab Emirates. Bondonno previously worked at DHL Danzas.
