Polet, MNG fly to Hong Kong

BOTH Polet Cargo Airlines and MNG Airlines have launched new cargo services to Hong Kong.

Russian-based freighter carrier Polet Cargo Airlines launched its inaugural charter services to Hong Kong on 9 May with routing of Frankfurt–Hong Kong–Vienna. It marks the first time the wide-body IL-96-400T has flown to Hong Kong.

Maxim Klushin of Polet (right) said: “It is an exciting first step for us to run charter flight service to Hong Kong on our new homegrown aircraft. We see plenty of business opportunities in the Asia Pacific region and we are confident that Hactl (Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited) [will] definitely add value to our business and support our future expansion.”

In addition, MNG Airlines, the Turkish-based freighter carrier, has launched its new charter services to Hong Kong on its Airbus A300 between Delhi and Hong Kong on.

Lilian Chan, general manager, marketing and customer service of Hactl said: “We congratulate Polet Cargo Airlines and MNG Airlines on the launch of their new charter services to Hong Kong and we will work closely with them to support their new business developments in Hong Kong.”
