Qantas Freight’s Lisa Brock leaves air cargo

AFTER just three years as executive manager of Qantas Freight (QF), the cargo arm of the Australian flag-carrier, Lisa Brock is moving on.
The chartered accountant joined the Qantas Group in 1998 from Ernst & Young, before subsequently taking up her current position. Brock will become the new chief commercial officer for the Jetstar Group in the New Year, a company statement reveals.
During her tenure, she has overseen the integration of the domestic express operator Australian air Express; the implementation of the Emirates Cooperation Agreement; as well as the introduction of several major technological improvements, including a self-service import delivery system at QF’s Australian International terminals, and meeting IATA’s eAWB penetration target.
An internal recruitment process is now underway to secure a replacement, a company spokesperson adds.
