Singapore Airlines to add fifth US destination in 2019

Singapore Airlines will begin non-stop flights to Seattle in September 2019, bringing the total number of US destinations in its network to five, including the Los Angeles service that will commence this week.
The Seattle service will operate three times a week at first, increasing to four times weekly in October 2019, and will use an Airbus 350-900 aircraft.
“Our new non-stop flights to Seattle are another demonstration of our commitment to expand our operations in the important US market and grow our network reach,” said Singapore Airlines chief executive Goh Choon Phong.
The airline also revealed that its non-stop flights to San Francisco would step up from seven to 10 services per week from November 28 this year. Its other US destinations are Houston and New York (both JFK and Newark).
