Swiss WorldCargo replaces missing directors

SWISS WorldCargo has made new appointments following the departures of Dieter Vranckx and Bernd Maresch.

Succeeding Dieter Vranckx as managing director Asia, Africa and the Middle East is Ashwin Bhat (right), formerly managing director transportation management.

Urs Stulz, formerly managing director Europe, is appointed to head up the newly-created central services department, comprising marketing, processes, contribution management and hub operations. His successor as managing director Europe is Lâlin Sabuncuo?lu-Janssen, formerly director and head of Europe South and West.

All appointments are effective 1 November.

Oliver Evans, chief cargo officer, said: “I am very confident that we have created a new platform for further progress with strong, dynamic leaders blending different backgrounds and cultures into a very effective force to break new ground and gather exceptional performance.”
