The Neo kid on the block

ADNAN Duran has set up Neo Air Charter, which pledges to deal with freight forwarders only. The company is based in Frankfurt (Germany), and plans to open offices at other strategic charter gateways around the world. The company also has established service partners in Singapore and the US and will be adding to these in the coming months.

Stefan Kohlmann will join Neo in January as the company’s joint managing partner.

“With the launch of Neo Air Charter we have fully recognised and respect the role of the freight agent as an essential link in the supply chain,” Adnan Duran said. “For that reason, we will only accept enquiries and instructions from freight forwarders and logistics intermediaries. We believe that is a unique proposition in air charter.”

Neo is fully operational, and has already fixed a number of charters for well-known forwarders. The company will work exclusively through freight agents, serving all charter markets including automotive, relief, ships’ spares, AOG, military, projects, oil and gas, power generation, and livestock and bloodstock.

“We can handle any kind of business, for any type of aircraft from a single engine Cessna to the An-225, to or from anywhere in the world,” Duran added. “Our offices and those of our partners are manned around the clock, so time differences will present no problems. But, above all, we believe that it is our promise of commercial neutrality that will really win the support of freight agents.”
