United Cargo appoints new VP

UNITED Airlines has appointed Jim Bellinder as vice-president of sales for its freight division United Cargo (UC).
Bellinder, who reports to UC’s president Robbie Anderson, has 26 years experience with the carrier and Continental Airlines. He began his career as a cargo general sales agent in Chicago (USA), before eventually progressing to regional sales director.
In 2005, Bellinder became Continental Cargo’s director of sales for the Americas. Following the 2011 United-Continental merger, he assumed the same role at UC.
“Combined with his vast experience and history of important contributions to cargo sales at [both] Continental and United, Jim is the perfect choice to lead the global United Cargo sales team,” enthuses Anderson.
